Ajmal Kasab facing underworld threat

Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving 26/11 terrorist, is facing threat from identified Dawood Ibrahim, the underworld don in ‘exile’ in Pakistan, Mumbai police said on Feb 10.

'We have received intelligence inputs stating that Kasab's life may be under threat from the D-company’,  Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rakesh Maria said.

Kasab is presently in police custody and  a charge sheet is yet to be filed in the attacks carried out by Lashkar-e-Taiba at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), Hotels Taj and Trident and Nariman House that led to at least 200 deaths..
