New Nepal PM asks Maoists to join govt.
Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has asked the Maoists to join his coalition government and help it in bringing the fragile peace process to its logical conclusion.
'I call upon the Maoists to join the government to move ahead the peace process,' he said in his maiden address to the nation. The 56-year-old CPN(UML) leader was sworn in as PM Monday to fill the vaccum created by the resignation of Prime Minister Prachanda three weeks ago
